Stock Coyote engines make between 420 and 435 horsepower in factory trim, but with a BBK throttle body you can increase the airflow to your intake and four-valve heads, and unlock serious power. A Power Plus throttle body will also give you quicker throttle response and more torque.
Built tough, BBK Power Plus-series throttle bodies are cast from brand new 356 aluminum alloy, which is fully CNC-machined to provide a racy look and OE-level operation. In fact, each BBK throttle body is assembled to aircraft tolerances at BBK’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Southern California.
While the throttle body will give you 8 to 12 horsepower on its own, we suggest adding a cold-air intake, exhaust headers and free-flowing exhaust, plus a flash tuner like the SCT X4 Power Flash Programmer to maximize power.

The intake contains a rubber O-ring so it’s not necessary to mess with any paper gaskets. Since the factory intake is plastic, it’s important not to over-tighten the bolts.
