SOC Classic Andermatt 2026: Where 50+ Collector Cars and World-Class Hospitality Come Together

Collector cars, often spend time moving between climate-controlled collections, concours lawns, and auction stages. SOC Classic Andermatt exists for a completely different reason: to bring together extraordinary machinery and the people who own them in an environment where both can be fully appreciated to the fullest.

Next weekend, the Supercar Owners Circle, now part of the duPont REGISTRY Group returns to the Swiss Alps for SOC Classic Andermatt 2026, a three-day gathering that combines some of the world's most desirable collector cars with some of Europe's greatest driving roads. Based at The Chedi Andermatt, the luxury retreat that helped transform the former Swiss military town into an international destination, the event continues to build on a formula that prioritizes driving, hospitality, and access.

Nestled at the crossroads of several legendary Alpine routes, Andermatt serves as the gateway to roads that have attracted enthusiasts for generations. Organizers have secured private access to both the Oberalp Pass and the Furka Pass, allowing participants to experience stretches of mountain asphalt that are normally shared with tourists, cyclists, and local traffic.

The opening drive heads toward the Oberalp Pass, where participants will tackle a fully closed route climbing from the valley floor toward the summit. The road offers everything that makes Alpine driving memorable, including fast sweepers, dramatic elevation changes, and views that stretch across some of Switzerland's most spectacular scenery. The evening returns to The Chedi for a welcome gathering, dinner, and a private Jaquet Droz presentation.

The following day shifts the focus to the Furka Pass, the same ribbon of tarmac immortalized by Sean Connery's iconic Aston Martin DB5 in Goldfinger. Rising to nearly 8,000 feet above sea level, Furka remains one of Europe's defining driving roads, combining long sight lines, technical switchbacks, and dramatic glacier views.

Over 50 collector cars are expected to attend this year's event, spanning nearly a century of automotive history. Several standout machines return from last year's gathering, including the Ferrari F40, Porsche Carrera GT, and Bugatti Veyron.

They will be joined by a broader and more diverse field for 2026, ranging from classics like the Ferrari 275 GTB and Porsche 917 K-81 to a Jaguar XJ220, Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota, Maserati MC12, and the striking Capricorn 01 Zagato.

Bugatti alone is expected to field more than a dozen cars, with models stretching from the legendary pre-war Type 35 to the rarely seen EB112 prototype sedan, creating one of the most comprehensive displays of the French marque outside an official factory gathering.

The experience extends beyond the mountain roads as participants gain access to the privatized Ambri Airfield, where a dedicated driving program will another dimension to the action-packed weekend. The airfield will also add host a culinary experience from three-Michelin-starred Da Vittorio, with Chef Chicco Cerea preparing the restaurant's celebrated paccheri live for guests.

Day two at The Chedi, will see the hotel's underground garage transforms into SOC's signature gala setting.  Jaquet Droz will serve as the event's official watch partner, while guests will also have access to presentations and discussions featuring representatives from Bugatti, Capricorn, and other industry leaders.

Several partners are adding another layer of anticipation throughout the weekend with Bizzarrini expected to unveil a car that has never been driven publicly before, while Mercedes-Benz Classic and ALPINA-BMW join an expanding roster of automotive participants.

In an era when many automotive events chase larger crowds and greater spectacle, SOC remains committed to something more intimate. The combination of spectacular roads, remarkable machinery, world-class hospitality, exceptional cuisine, and like-minded company is what continues to separate SOC Classic Andermatt from nearly every other collector-car event on the calendar.
