A 5.7-liter V12 sits behind Derek Tam-Scott's head, 48 valves and no turbos, nothing between the combustion and your ears. He gets on it through the trees and the Diablo VT does the one thing it has always known how to do, which is fill the whole world up with that noise. Giotto Bizzarrini drew the engine for Ferruccio in 1963, built to race, and the Diablo is still running its bloodline. This is Lamborghini from the era a lot of people still call the good one, Sant'Agata before the German money showed up and sanded the edges off. The car was a little feral back then, and you can hear it.
