Episode Two of Peking to Paris takes us into a rented garage in the San Fernando Valley, where Kurht Gearhardt’s Porsche 912 is stripped bare and built back for 8500 miles of dust and broken roads.. In a quiet garage deep in the Valley, every choice matters. Fuel. Tires. Paint. Suspension. All of it aimed at one thing: survival.
It is long days, dirty hands, and the quiet knowledge that the car has to be ready or it will not survive. The rally has not started yet, but you can already feel the weight of it pressing in.
